"With the possible exception of Colette's L'amato, and a few other short stories... I don't believe I've read anything in my entire life. I never felt the need: I thought I could grasp the idea of a book... in just a few pages... Free from any cultural pretensions, I never felt the need to concern myself with things that didn't overwhelm me." Arthur Miller. Superficial. The essence is that by venerating her, invoking her as the goddess of transparency and humanity, the star, one merely highlights the mediocrity of the human being, Geenoo. A martyr of modern society, yes. A myth, no.

Clap Clap! I was about to miss this one. Well done, with collaboration we really move forward! Rece as noble as the sport mentioned.

Geenoo's comment makes perfect sense, except for the fact that we are not talking about ordinary men but men in power, and as she herself stated, there was no real interest other than a quick fling (at least on John's part). So why allow oneself to be treated like this, just good meat and nothing more, why? The Superfiga wanted to be the one next to the president! She had a husband, a wealthy and jealous one, so why chase after power? Because the stupid woman doesn't care about being treated like a mindless hooker, as long as she gets to be there, next to the lion of the situation.

Bob, I'm not actually upset about the photo, which I also find very beautiful for capturing that moment of humanity. I'm upset about the lynching of Lord DarthVader's opinion (which in this case is neither vulgar nor out of place). Perhaps his only fault is having been the first; if that comment had come after 8-9 "pugnetta" comments, there wouldn't be a discussion by now.

There is no better or worse, there is survival. Also because if this were the measure of judgment, it would first be the construction entrepreneurs, the bank directors, the politicians, the mafiosi, the journalists. I am convinced that making a fool of ordinary people is much more serious than stealing a few coins from multi-billionaires.

Yes, Azzo's comment sounds a lot like "hold me back or I'll lose it."

This is not really the context to define it as an extraordinary concept. We're talking about a woman who is an image here. Was she herself?! Are we completely out of our minds? We're talking about the mother of all dolls, okay, she has been exploited to the bone, good for her, she just wanted to "be magnificent." Suu Kyi Aung San is a "woman," Patti Smith is a "woman," and who knows what Hack was like when she was young...

...and don't come telling me that scamming a bit of money from football players and other characters/clowns on TV is immoral.

Lately, I’m also reevaluating Corona; I mean, aside from all his egocentric and megalomaniacal statements (just look at his poses in the ads and various slogans), he’s managed to invent a completely original way of existing in the world. He says "I steal from the rich to give to myself," I see it as "fair redistribution of wealth," call it pathetic...
