Nice to have the lesser-known stuff (like Sweek), thanks.

"I don't know if Efrim Menuck's projects can have a significant impact on the history of music," I'll tell you: yes! Enjoy reading, even though I've heard less apolitical folk and more hard rock here, this and the last one by Motorpsycho, in my opinion, are very different yet also very similar.

Le Vibrazioni Le strade del tempo

There's shit pop rock and there's pop rock that's a bit less shit. Le Vibrazioni, I would say, belong to the second category; they definitely have the stench, but I don't know how much the cabbages and chickpeas smell better. I agree with the judgment, there are a few nice light tracks to include among more serious playlists.

Fest, I checked your lastfm library, try "Come On Die Young," it's a whole different story... Cheers!

I didn't like it, but maybe it's just me lacking a sufficient sense of humor or enough mental flexibility.

You see, it’s already a scene that has its own name; Louisville could stand for Post Rock just like Canterbury stands for Prog. I prefer the perhaps less rock path but (in my opinion) more focused on emotion, from Mogwai to GY!BE (and all the stuff from Constellation) onwards, you see the various clones Explosion in the Sky, Mono, and a thousand other groups all "post rock" and all offspring of the Scots. Tastes are fine, but a certain importance must be acknowledged.

Post rock = melancholic rock, slow but strong in sound progressions (also elongated crescendos) = Mogwai, if you don't understand their importance or have another "definition" of post rock or you think they suck. :)
