They have nothing to do with it, but given the many analogies, I've framed them as the Om italici, so I’m fine with whatever they do. The fact that you liked it too comforts me. Concrete reception like the reviewed ones, sounds carefully dirty, especially the percussion from Dorella. ;)

Yes, I misspoke, it’s an idea already proposed, and theirs came out a bit flat. At this point, I’d rather listen to one of their screamo albums; at least I know that’s the genre and there’s no escaping it. A somewhat similar work that turned out definitely better is Blackjazz by Shining or the latest from Kayo Dot. These are more aggressive/violent than alternative, but not by much. ;)

I'm listening to this right now and it's making me chuckle. In my opinion, few ideas, bland melodies, and an annoying voice. Already in the Kosmo link it’s better... I only save the ending of Sad Stanley. Shake-up ahead! PROT! ;)

For now, it's the post-rock album of the year, and it surprises me that people who gave high ratings to nonsense like Jakob can't appreciate them. Together with Bachi? I didn't know that; I might as well jump on board right away then. But let me understand? There are people who talk about "alignment" and others who feel cool being contrary, so the sheep are both in the flock and outside of it? To listen to it and judge it freely without following the various currents, right?! In this album, in small snippets, they sound like Neurosis.

This has been the best moment of X Factor: even just for the arrangement. She has a great voice; when she sings, when she speaks, she sounds like Lemmy, so that’s fine too. :) The thing is that the first album is now in the hands of the record labels, who, for better or worse, will make her sing ridiculous stuff... If I were one of them, I’d try to come in second, then ride the wave of popularity with a poorly recorded self-produced album full of MY ideas. If it works, great. If someone wants to produce it again, even better; otherwise, who gives a damn.
