Well, all this hate towards them... Grohl is a great drummer and not just that... the Foos aren't bad... there's way worse crap circulating right now... turn on MTV and you'll find three or four pieces of garbage printed on the screen that are lip-syncing and messing around.
But those who say that all the bands launched by MTV are jerks that don't deserve money are not right... there are also some nice things that can be enjoyed...

not bad...among the best albums by Blur (maybe the best)...Damon Albarn is one of the geniuses of modern music...I don't even mind Think Tank, even if some criticize it...I have always liked Out of Time...Albarn is also the mind behind the puppets of Gorillaz, and they are also among the best faces of today's pop...

Technically, the Sex Pistols have nothing to do with the London Calling by the Clash: those who say this album is crap probably only have the punk scene (SP, Ramones, Damned, Buzzcocks) on their minds. If, on the other hand, we have jazz, a pinch of dub in reggae style, and rockabilly mixed with the usual punk tank, then we realize that this is a masterpiece with flying colors.
