As for the chosen one, I actually pointed out that I neglected it... as for the previous discussion, there are better comedies out there... I like Lost in Translation, About a Boy, Big Fish by Tim Burton, and why not, Thank You For Smoking also has its ironic sides. Regarding Italian films, I also like Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo. It’s a matter of taste.

Well, I actually neglected them... I think Ladykillers isn't that bad (I only watched the first 40 minutes on a friend's laptop) but even in the new millennium there are superior comedies, not many but they exist...

In my opinion, it's not a shame that there isn't one. It's precisely the fact that the only soundtrack present in the film is a touch of clock hands (at the end) that makes this film "dry ice," just like McCarthy's novel.
