Yes, madness is not lacking in either of them... I have the vague impression that the Lips have also influenced several other bands... I believe that the psychedelia of Jane's Addiction and that of One Hot Minute by the Peppers comes, not entirely but almost, from the early works of the Lips.

and many others. Cobain cited, in addition to the Puppets, the Stooges (his favorite record was Raw Power), Queen (for their concerts), Bowie, and all those flash-in-the-pan bands from the '80s.

In my opinion, this is better than Hear it is; Oh my gawd! I've never listened to it.

for madcat: the best ones, besides "Huevos" and "II", are (in my humble opinion) "I", "Monster" and "Mirage". I don't recommend the latter because they stray too far from the true nature of the Meat Puppets.

It's not that you have ham in your ears, I think it's a matter of taste... because based on your comments and your reviews, I think you have a habit of listening to certain stuff.

Good Blackdog, a letter full of ideas. Not a bad album, it redeems the lacking works of the new Remian remedy.

For me, "II" remains the best; this month I've practically only listened to the Meat. I like Huevos, but I prefer "II" and that poor quarter of an hour of "In a Car."
