Zaireeka, you have enlightened us. Strong is the term "radiolone."

dull flame...I raise the score because I've seen people giving really random ratings here and there...and some people should just be silent because I bet that if I search their iPods or their 500 euro phones, I would even find the Madonna. A very respectable album and a 4 review, but I'm giving you a 5 because of these idiots.

I'm downloading Zaireeka today... I'll try the technique (the simplest one) suggested by Alessio and then I'll see what effect it has.

Your reviews, as always, convince me. I’ve never heard them, but if their style is partly that of Jane's Addiction and P. Farrell, then I will hear something.

Thank you. But please don't make me older, I'm still 15.

I said it, in my opinion the similarities are there, indeed, and also evident... but it's a matter of perspective...

Ok Mantrico, maybe it's true that the Floyd albums are 20 years older than Telepathic Surgery, but I found some similarities in terms of sound rather than style. I mentioned Van Halen and Jimi in that case just as examples; otherwise, they have almost nothing to do with it. I agree with the analogies you draw between garage/protopunk and the Lips (Fryin Up and Drug Machine, to name just two obvious ones), but I reconsidered that afterwards.

infected mantra, could you kindly point me to these references?

It seems to me the most successful among the various reviews of No Country... among which there’s also mine that didn’t turn out so great... stop with the little debates, you’re turning a free site like Debaser into a place for hardcore movie buffs who have spent their entire lives reading Mereghetti 2000... there are people in here who morally look down on you and couldn’t care less whether the film is remembered in history or not. Period.
