Yo La Tengo Ride the Tiger

I agree with donjunio, in fact, I said that this album isn't made that well, but musically the potential is there and it's huge; however, only at the peaks of the '90s will Yo La Tengo manage to fully exploit it. For goodness' sake, they've also done some negligible stuff (for some specific work, I would even dare to say "useless"). To err is human.

It's not my favorite Coen film, but the review is truly beautiful and heartfelt.

And instead, coincidentally, this site is made precisely for debating (also on genres), for comparing ideas, for having fun, and for growing musically speaking (beyond tastes, which we all somewhat share, I hope)...

Of all these scarf-wearing Ray-Ban types, there are very few worth mentioning, certainly not the Kooks, just like other bands... the Doherty disasters (maybe the first Libertines album is still decent), and the other fools, more or less known, who imitate the good old days while cashing in massively. The music is far too fake, hidden behind those pretty faces of the damned and those oversized glasses. New millennium indie music is more of a trend than a genuine way to make music. When will those London idiots realize that the masquerade party has been over for quite a while? The only bands whose sounds I appreciate in the indie scene are Killers, Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, and a few others, but that doesn't mean I consider them geniuses. Moreover, the ones I've mentioned have nothing to do with a group like the Kooks, or Babyshambles, or whatever. Ah, I reviewed the first album by Yo La Tengo; that is true alternative indie without blemish. It should be arriving shortly.

usual concise praises for the super...this week has been the week of the revival of the hard-psychedelia from the sixties. As for reviews, it’s entertaining this period. Review done the way I like it; I enjoy playing with words. As for the album, I won’t vote because it eludes me.

I liked the glam, exaggerated, baroque style of Queen... Not this crappy pop that tops the charts... to be forgotten and strongly discouraged because The Game doesn't capture the pure Queen style. Come on, you have to be crazy to listen to Radio Ga Ga or similar crap. From this album, it must be acknowledged that Save Me brings back the previous records and thus preserves the Queen style. The rest is to be flushed down the toilet.
