sorry for the grammar (this will be the third time I'm saying it today) but I don't feel like writing.

@chihapresomaleglipseudoinsulti: well, "saccente" isn't exactly an insult, and I don't want to get into morphology because then I would sound like a know-it-all. Then trell, not everything makes you a jerk, I told you not to act like a jerk. The first is a noun and an explicit insult, the second jokingly means "come on, avoid being annoying." That's it, I'm closing here, I wouldn't want to fall into know-it-allism.

No, I was referring to the comment before the second-to-last one you sent. Excuse me, I didn't know you were female.

The site would need to be inspected. As far as I know and from what I've seen in a year of use in DeB, I haven't cursed and I haven't seen anyone cursing. Now, if there were cases before my arrival, I don't know that.

Come on, trell, don't be an idiot, for once that we’re having a serious discussion on Debaser and not messing around, let’s talk about it civilly.

No trell, sorry if I didn't express myself well, it's pedantic to specify something that could be avoided. In this case, to elaborate on the blasphemy, even using Wikipedia, was an arrogant action. Just as it's unnecessary to say that blasphemy is a crime, because they would never condemn you for it, not even if you were Ratzinger. With this, I don't mean to say that it's right to blame God and company; on the contrary, I am against blasphemy (even if sometimes it slips out). It's just that it wasn't necessary to say it; everyone knows that one shouldn't blaspheme.

calm down psycho, as far as the bans on Ondarock go, it is ten thousand times better. But even intuitively, it’s definitely like that. It’s like comparing a nursery with naughty kids fighting and Monowitz-Auschwitz with the naziskin and the beautifully shaved Jews under fire.

Sorry for the double comment, but I wanted to say to trellheim that this, in a way, is also a form of arrogance. What's the point of saying that blasphemy is a crime? It doesn't seem to be respected. Alright, it shouldn't be said here, but there was no reason to mention it. Besides, to hell with certain things, even the carramba curse on the street (and they shouldn't), and if it were respected, my grandfather would already have eight life sentences (maybe nine).

I agree with Psycho. The beauty of Debaser is exactly this: we don't take ourselves too seriously. If someone makes a mistake or insults, in most cases the user isn't banned. And perhaps that's for the best; that's why the Ondarock forum is desolate in the sense that it feels like a desert. It's less active because strictness is tiring and people leave. I write a message on Ondarock once in a blue moon, and I've only been registered for just under two months. Here, it's almost a year; I've received insults, I've had ovations, and I haven’t been banned even though I’ve acted like a jerk a few times. What more could you want? Here, we enjoy ourselves, we comment lively and jokingly, sometimes even seriously without ever falling into arrogance, nitpicking, or snobbery. There are exceptions too; some people immediately get annoyed by cynical characters (Alessio on the side of "nervo vivace" (with all due respect) or a Poletti on the cynical side), some act like know-it-alls, or there are those who simply listen to music, but the beauty is that we never really get pissed off. Even while insulting, people never get on each other’s nerves, they hardly ever ban anyone, and they don’t call the bad wolves. That's the beauty of it. Each person, whether insulting or being insulted, has mutual respect for the person they're joking with or talking seriously to. Familiarity is the best thing about Debaser.
