Rock is not dead. We always need to be careful to distinguish what’s chocolate, dark or milk (haha, I always make this distinction, you understand, right?) and what’s the shit, stinky and massive dog shit, like the kind that infests the sidewalks. In this case, however, what is being infested is the world of music, and since music also affects culture, and consequently society, a bit of everything gets infested. As for the concept, 1 a priori.

And I’m adding these to the list as well. When Iggy’s involved, I don’t let anything slip by. Plus, I watched the video on YouTube of the first track. Not bad.

It had been a while since you last reviewed. Anyway, great review as usual, this time you pulled out some really interesting music. If I find it (hard to do), I'll listen to it. In any case, if there's an Hammond blasting, Iron Butterfly, and LSD involved, it should catch my interest.

Good review, you've got it in you. I'm not interested in them; they seem like the Punkreas mixed with ample doses of the most commercial fake political lyrics that are going around today.

@appestato: well, I expected you to love Here Comes the Indian. After all, what should I expect from a die-hard fan of FL and Mercury Rev? I'm a fan of FL too, but Here Comes the Indian just doesn’t sit well with me. It gets on my nerves, I can't stand it. It feels incomplete, hostile, dirty, poorly structured, sick. Oh my, not all of these are negative traits, but when applied to the Animal Collective and their overwhelming synth, they make me want to vomit.

I don't know about you, but to me Here comes the Indian, except for "Infant Dressing Table", really sucks.

Well, they might, it’s not superior storiadellamusica. Of course, in terms of the quality of the reviews, it’s better because the staff is sought after and selected, and furthermore, culturally it makes perfect sense (“culturally,” not “musically”), since that's what matters there. I don’t think you’re unsuitable at all; in fact, you don’t write badly at all, and it seems to me you have a good grasp of musical culture.
