I don't mind the review, in fact. It is, how to say, perhaps a bit too subjective; a reviewer should limit their pleasure and listen attentively to the album in question, but if you've listened to it carefully while setting aside Beck's figure as a whole, I can believe that. Maybe it’s a bit risky; a five would be on the real scale from 9 to 10 approximately, and if the judgment is this way for this album, it is for you and your opinion, and this time it is subjective. So, do you consider Modern Guilt on par with Odelay, or perhaps with Mellow Gold?

One of the most important and influential albums of all time. By recreating what was good in music, from psychedelia to punk, from garage to pop, they fused melody and noise, highs and lows, a structured voice with obsessive singing, serious music with divertissement; it's no coincidence that if they hadn't existed, by now Pavement or Cobain would be in a completely different place. Five for life.
