Iggy Pop The Idiot

Great review Black, it’s been a while since I listened to anything by Iggy or the Stooges. The fact is that I’m getting into other things, I’ve left but not abandoned the punk port, it’s been over three months since I’ve written here. I think it’s time to get to work.

Nice review, a couple of months ago I was supposed to listen to it, but then the idea slipped away. Maybe this is the right opportunity to discover them. I'll see if I can find them.
Meat Puppets Too High to Die

I am a fan of the Meat Puppets. I find this album "under" the previous ones; my favorite is II, and I like the Puppets' genuine, more natural work, which is why I appreciate Too High To Die less, as it sounds more stereotypical. The review isn't bad, but I find it excessive to say that the Meat Puppets were pioneers of stoner (I don't see many common points; if there are any, let me know). Seriously, I find it excessive to call them founders of indie rock, more so than a "genre label" that doesn't uniformly encompass groups making the same music. Based on what I've said, it's still difficult to give a unique origin to indie; at this point, the founders could be the MP like a thousand others, such as Dinosaur Jr., Pavement, Pixies, but any group with an independent and lo-fi approach.

One of the most important tragedies of ancient Greek theater always carries this reflection through myth or through a story of something more complex that touches upon what it means to be human. In this case, it's the love for the mother, but nonetheless, certain things resonate with all of us (let's remember the Oedipus complex later in modern times with psychoanalysis). Beyond the beauty of the tragedy, Oedipus Rex has a seminal importance in a staggering number of fields.

@ Icnarf: well, I wouldn't say so, you yourself said that Long Division is about feeling like a worm, an outcast, Your New Two Sized Bed is about loneliness, at this point I would say my explanation could be credible, don’t you think?

I had promised myself to watch the movie; lately I've been missing the absurd, a bit of American silly cinema, the classics from Stiller and company.

I completely agree. You took the words right out of my mouth.
Cesare Cremonini Il Primo Bacio Sulla Luna

The boy has a way with words, but many times he gets lost in abyssal banality (Dicono di Me on top of that, the usual stereotypical song of the latest Italian singer-songwriter scene, see also Silvestri and Bersani). Nonetheless, he remains at a quality standard sufficient to satisfy enthusiasts, but before using the word "masterpiece," there is quite a bit to reflect on.

Honestly, if what was mentioned is just trivial stuff, I'd rather stay and listen to the trivialities.
