@mien: Toilet flush? But you know that people can also go back through the reviews! They don't necessarily have to stay on the home page, right? Anyway, my last review was on the home page for almost a week; I couldn't take it anymore. In the comments section, they were at each other's throats, and they started talking about everything except the album... I don't want to blame anyone; it was probably inevitable. That's how it went, oh well...

A beautiful album of instrumental music, played with all the flair that the situation demands, packed with electronics and original, entertaining solutions, dreamy and mysterious atmospheres alongside moments of blood-pumping and enjoyable funk. And as if that weren't enough, there's also Miles Davis playing the trumpet.

Clearly derivative work but far from despicable. More of disseminators than innovators. The 2nd CD is not up to the level of the first. The review is a bit unbalanced, in my opinion. I'm afraid of yet another flame war...

Of course this time you've really spoiled me! ;-) I've seen a bit of commotion in the comments section, I hope no one got hurt... In any case, thank you again for stopping by.

P.S. To improve the signal-to-noise ratio, since we cannot decrease the noise, we must necessarily increase the signal level. In other words, write more quality reviews if you want to "dilute" the presence of ihsahn on this site and relegate him and his mates to an increasingly minor role!

@Supersoul, let’s try to turn the tables and look at the glass half full: the fact that Albano has made around 1300 contacts and the Jethro Tull about 650 indicates a tremendous media success for the Jethro Tull review! In fact, in "real life," Albano is not just "twice as famous" as the Jethro Tull, but much more! If the troll’s purpose is to increase "the background noise," drowning out quality in a sea of banality, it seems to me that he is failing in his mission. The homepage is full of interesting reviews of a variety of artists, and all have reached a good number of contacts. I may be guilty of optimism, but it seems to me that the Debaser community has responded overall positively to the provocation.

Thank you guys for the wonderful welcome. @Adriano, I have the mentioned Metheny albums, I don't know the other two and I will try to get them. "Bellezza selvaggia" I like a lot. @Odra: "Darkwood" is also very beautiful but, as you might have understood, I have a slight preference for this one. Could it be a bit of a litmus test for the difference in our musical tastes? Then you mentioned a string of names that speak for themselves; I would also like to remember Hank Roberts...

I would like to say that the number of contacts and comments for this review is due to the love for cinema and for Lynch's work, but I fear that the main attraction has been the metaphorical beatings that the attendees gave each other. Oh well, debaser is also this...

I put in my mouthguard, so I can comment now. ;-) Well done, great review!
