@bjorky: no worries, it's not necessary to listen to everything and like everything... And anyway, you have the most beautiful avatar (and the related picture on your personal card) of all! @Surfer: see? The ways of providence are endless!

So, these are the CDs from "Il Manifesto" that, for the modest price of 10 euros, often feature excellent music proposals... See the CDs by Fresu with the Kocani Orkestar, by Enzo Favata, by Aires Tango... I don’t have this one, but I’ve heard very good things about it, as well as about the following "Trammari," which features Daniele Sepe, Maria Pia De Vito, and Ralph Towner. For some mysterious reason, I can't find them around my area...

Who made me study the double bass... "Look at Luna," I was fortunate enough to see it live! One of the most beautiful, witty, and entertaining performances I have ever attended. Bollani clowning around from start to finish (by the way, he sings like a god), Rava playing the old fool (if someone had told me, I wouldn't have believed it)... If it’s out on DVD, I’ll grab it right away... Bye.
Rita Marcotulli The Light Side Of The Moon

Welcome back Hal, finally we meet! Praising Marcotulli is like preaching to the choir... Our darling Ritona, after Koinè, has also released "On The Edge Of A Perfect Moment" in a duo with saxophonist Andy Sheppard, still beautiful, although I have a slight preference for "The Light Side Of The Moon". Look it up online, and if you can’t find it, we can discuss it privately (think "odradek", to give you an idea...).

Coelum, I quote you and I quote you again. Anyone who has seen Rita live doesn't forget her easily!

Hats off to the two biggest MARPIONI of the Italian jazz scene... Watching them play live is pure delight. The CD is one of those I'm missing, unfortunately...

Nice nice, but maybe I prefer "Extra-Muros."

Beautiful album. I need to get myself motivated to review "Mythologies"...
