No, sorry, but that little diva who thinks she's a musician just because she knows a few chords and has a pretty face, I just can't stand her...

"Here Bruni has put on a bit of Joni Mitchell"... No, you know, Bruni can't even wash Joni Mitchell's car.

Yes, the lineup is quite unusual... Kenny Wheeler and Dave Holland are very versatile musicians, but seeing them on a single album together with Lee Konitz and Bill Frisell is a bit surprising. Anyway... Just imagine if such people would make anything less than beautiful! :-)

I've never really spent much time with her; some things she does get on my nerves a bit. However, she is definitely an interesting artist.

Good job, doctor, only the reissue deserves a 5. The album is very beautiful, more "folk" and accessible than "Aerial Boundaries" but full of little gems. I love the finale "I Carry Your Heart," melancholic and captivating, but I also really like "The Jade Stalk," despite its simplicity.

@shooting: the lady definitely has good taste! ;-) Thank you for stopping by. And thanks to Vì for the "artistic" clarification, and for introducing me to a painter I didn't know.

What a shame that such reviews stay briefly on the homepage. Encyclopedic yet very enjoyable. Great job.

Great Count. I had missed this, but judging by the names involved and the description, it really seems like it's for me. Dave Holland is a significant figure, I really like his work with the big band.

"The turtle" is not the most heinous crime committed by Bruno Lauzi... Let's not forget about "Johnny Bassotto"... but come on, kyrie, two on the record is just too much.
