The recommendation is truly outstanding, but I find the review a bit lacking when it comes to presenting the lineup. Who plays what? What instruments does Eric Dolphy play? Between the lines, one can infer that Jaki Byard is the pianist and Richmond is the drummer of the group, but what about Clifford Jordan? Those who know jazz, and this record, will quickly catch the references, but I believe others might be left a bit disappointed.

Wow, that must have been an amazing concert... Did the two of them lose a bit of their edge compared to the legendary duets of the seventies? Probably, but at this point, who cares... You even have the signed CDs...
