Break it to me, you have to come to terms with it: if you review lesser-known artists, you’ll get few comments...

Alright then, let's clarify: it's forbidden to write comments that are better than the reviews, otherwise, what kind of impression does that leave the reviewer? ;-) Cimbarello, keep going to the professor, it's in your best interest... Anyway, thank you, that’s very kind of you.

Doc, I think peperonata is what makes you have "time travel" experiences where you recover your ineffable 70s/80s technology...

But is he related to Brian? Good job, doctor, original proposal, review in my opinion just below your usual standard, but nothing to worry about.

Thank you all for the comments. @omahaceleb: Eddie Palmieri syndrome is a disorder for which, to this day, no cure is known... Thank God. ;-) Anyway, I recently saw Fresu in a trio with Richard Galliano and Jan Lundgren, and I was very impressed ("Mare Nostrum" is the name of this trio's CD). The concert was very emotional; in my opinion, Fresu has found his way. In terms of sound and approach to improvisation, he has remarkable maturity for a musician of his age.

@emme: you need to get the recording of the concert they did in Trieste (the mule is your friend), you’ll see you’ll find your satisfaction there.
