But even a review of an album can be a little essay, if that's the case. The reason still eludes me, but it seems to me that reviewing a book is somehow more difficult than doing the same for an album... Perhaps because those who review books usually write better than those who review albums? I don't know, anyway telespallabob did a great job, and the mention is interesting.

Ah, the old vinyl/CD debates, a dive into the 80s... Does vinyl sound better than CD? Maybe, the first two or three times you play it... Then the needle eats it up. Even on the most sophisticated system. Meanwhile, digital mastering and equalization techniques have advanced tremendously, and there are excellent CDs with a "warm" sound and not a plasticky one... And they sound the same every time.
