I will take ThirdEye's comment to clarify a couple of points. The definition of "copyleft" taken from the Zingarelli dictionary is very general and, in some ways, a bit ambiguous, as it refers to the underlying principle of many commercial licenses, which differ slightly from one another. For example, the Creative Commons license, under which the web pages of Debaser are released, allows copying and free distribution, but not modification. Similarly, the text subject to the review is released. For further clarification, I pass the word to the Wu Ming themselves: Il copyleft spiegato ai bambini - di Wu Ming 1 The field where copyleft expresses itself in its fullness is that of computer science, where the equally important concept of open source, or "sorgente aperta," is invoked. By making the program's source code available, it is indeed possible to modify it at will (provided one has the skills) and freely distribute the modified copy. The discussion would be very long and specific; I will just say that excellent examples of open source include the Linux operating system, the Mozilla Firefox browser, and the P2P program eMule. There are also examples of "open source" literary texts, although they are rarer, where readers can freely make modifications as they wish and redistribute the modified text. It seems that the Wu Ming have also experimented with something like this in the past.

I must give precedence in my thanks to odradek, both for the sparseness of his contributions and because, as Adder reminds me, he has a Deranking(TM) of 2.302, whatever that means... Hi odra, thanks for getting in touch. I also love Buzzati, sixty stories of course, but "Un amore" uber alles. @Telespalla: have you read "54"? link rotto

I also like "Virgin Beauty" a bit more. However, both are a 5, in my opinion. The CD (and the review) by Conte is also essential; I apologize for the oversight.

What a line-up! Nice review, I don't know her except as a "partner". I will look into it.

@Ole: Alright, got it. I'll think about it a bit. And maybe I'll write an inner review. ;-)

But what difference is there in reviewing an album? I'm not asking out of controversy, just to clarify my thoughts…
