Alright, maybe if you listen to the really noisy songs on the album (bricklayer and punch drunk above all), you might think "I could have done this just as well by banging on two pots for about 30 seconds or maybe a minute," but would you have been able to achieve the effect you feel when listening to Husker? This album is the pent-up anger accumulated over a lifetime that bursts out all at once, coming straight from the heart and the balls... and sorry if it's not enough.

Jokes aside, this album is fantastic to listen to when I'm really pissed off for any reason, like any respectable hardcore record.
