Uxò, Ghemison expressed more or less what I said, so why don't you jump on my neck and shower me with kisses?

I've already shared my opinion on Yes, nothing to add. Supersoul, I hear you talking about Punk, but which Punk bands do you like? I love many Punk bands.

Why aren’t you answering me? Do you think I’m incompetent? Or for any other reason, just tell me... or is it pissing you off?

Hey, tell me, did you like the movie or not? I did, the soundtrack is definitely important, but certainly not decisive. Apart from everything, I would give it almost the maximum, a nice 4.5. Do you agree?

I don't know the album, but you piqued my interest. I really want to know which jazz albums you prefer. Just two or three will do. Come on, break the rules and tell me.

supersoul, I knew you would respond like that. It's difficult for me too, but just off the top of my head, I can name a few: Bob Dylan, Highway 61... Television Marquee Moon, Talking Heads one of the first two, Van Morrison Moondance and others, Zappa, Hot Rats, R.E.M, a couple of compilations, Pink Floyd the first and a few others, Tim Buckley Starsailor, Nick Drake a random one, a live album by Sam Cooke, a compilation of Al Green, and one by Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding live, the first Velvet album, Jimi Hendrix Are You... the Franklin in Paris... I'd also include Hiatt, Costello, and if I think about it, I can come up with other less known ones, I also like punk. I asked you this because maybe a record would come up that I don't know, that’s worth buying.

I'm a bit biased against Warhol since I read his harsh critique of Bob Dylan. But he undeniably deserves credit for discovering the Velvet Underground. Moreover, with his serigraphs representing the symbols of our time (Coca Cola, Marilyn Monroe), he was the precursor of Pop Art. However, when I look at him as a whole, including his short films, I wonder what he wanted to express with a camera filming someone giving a blowjob for half an hour. I've seen a few paintings by Basquiat, and they don't resonate with me; I think a talented graffiti artist today is on his level. But I had mentioned that I'm not an expert in figurative art, so don’t lead me into difficult discussions because it’s not my forte.

Predetermined criteria or schools of thought, there is never just one, otherwise critics would all agree on how to evaluate an artist. My post doesn’t close off, doesn’t provoke, doesn’t outrage; it was just my humble opinion on the figurative art of the last 50 years, which I wanted to express because the film deals with "Basquiat." It seems undeniable to me that during this period, determining whether an artist is a genius is much more difficult than in past centuries. Nothing more.

Let me preface by saying that I am not an expert in visual art. It is obvious that my opinion is subjective; when I look at the works of Lucian Freud, they convey positive emotions to me. As for objective judgments, I believe they do not exist; in all artistic fields, critics regularly disagree on the value of any artist. This demonstrates that what you refer to as pre-established parameters do not exist. Since we are on a music and cinema site, let me give you two examples. Trout Mask Replica is considered by some to be the greatest album of all time, while others think it's nonsense. In cinema, David Lynch divides critics and audiences with some of his works, such as Lost Highway. Here’s another example: Merda d'artista by Piero Manzoni. Finally, you talk about objective judgment. Objective judgment and objective are synonyms, so I have nothing more to add.
