Thank you so much vellutogrigio, I've been wanting to read something by Ellery Queen for a while... I'll let you know how it goes :)

Just a few days ago, I remembered this movie and thought about writing a review. I see you've beaten me to it (Actually, you didn't see me at all, as they say around here)... In short, it's a likable comedy that the director should have spiced up with a touch of healthy, irreverent cynicism instead of softening it with slightly sugary tones (See the ending), but it's still enjoyable, especially thanks to the great Rosanne Barr. Meryl Streep is hilarious, but I preferred her in "Death Becomes Her." Good review.

The scene of the knight and death in the confessional is magnificent. A challenging work, especially in light of the few but complex biblical references. A masterpiece.

A film that I personally consider extraordinary, and the absence of a review about it was truly a significant gap. Well done to mistra for the beautiful review.

The duet with Pelù is quite shameful... as for her, she remains just a chart-topping poppet, but she's still better than the various Spears & Co, even though to be honest she has never really said anything meaningful to me.

Oops... I meant Holly Valance... I correct myself only in honor of the great actress that is Hunter, certainly not for that tramp H. Valance...
