A piece of childhood (even if I come from the '80s).

Never considered chissachì. After shooting a couple of little films that aim to be countercurrent, that want to bitterly satirize once again the Italian family ("Ricordati di me"), the couple’s neuroses ("L'ultimo bacio"), the adolescent struggles ("Nonmiricordoneanche"), what could one possibly expect? Muccino is the classic country cousin visiting the city. He landed in Hollywood in the years following 9/11, when some foreign directors or even some Americans were already looking at the crisis of the great star-spangled empire, and he makes a film about the American dream (In the finale, he felt the need to inform the audience that the hero of "La ricerca della felicità" would end up ridiculously rich. An endless cheesy move that manages to erase any shred of poetry that could have been salvaged). Italians will flock to the theaters because their country cousin made it in the city. I am disillusioned. His only justification in the face of such an artistically unsuccessful career would be that...no, there isn’t one.

I never rediscover the authors of the beat generation with much pleasure, but Burroughs is truly outside the box, out of time and space in the truest sense of the word. And to think that I’ve had a quarrel with American literature for quite a while...

Great review. Unfortunately, I know little or nothing about the artist, but it piques my curiosity (However, the album cover is horrible.).

I understand the desire to make the review as smooth as possible, but I must point out that certain points are truly an expression of unparalleled linguistic sloppiness (A loser? without heating and blah blah blah? As the pros say?). The book is the only Strega Prize that I haven't read yet.

I should preface by saying I have never listened to this album, so I don't feel justified in giving it a rating. However, when it comes to Max Pezzali and company, I can't suppress a wave of disgust. How can anyone appreciate music like this? The lyrics are always the same teenage nonsense, which makes me wonder how much and how Pezzali can grow as an artist if he has mentally stopped at the fifth year of high school. Songs are structured in the same way every time, with tunes that sound like jingles. Moreover, the cover, as Biancoenero rightly points out, is truly an affront.

The punisher: thank you for the ruthlessness I couldn't afford in the review.

Nice review, but I haven't listened to the album. "Human" doesn't really grab me that much...

It's not that I believe in Guns N' Roses that much anymore.
