Yes; but in the end, for me, a person's musical tastes, in a friendship, are not important, and if they are, it amounts to very little or almost nothing. But the problem of today's youth is not music. It's something that goes much deeper... who knows. Society has never been very helpful for the formation of an individual. At least in my opinion. If today a child grows up following the models imposed by society, that child, well... poor parents.

I understand you... I, as a 15-year-old, completely understand you. I look around and see only empty peers, whose main purpose in life is to mess up the world. Cell phones, MSN, zero culture, zero interest in anything serious. And so on... how can such superficial and trivial people appreciate serious music when they don't even have a real life? Fortunately, not everyone is like that. Yay. But what a sadness...

Honestly, I don’t understand those who complain about today’s music. Our years have passed, the '70s, but also the '60s, come on. We have billions of beautiful records and millions and millions of artists we will never forget. What more do we want? Then again, it’s also true that today there are some extremely talented artists! You just have to look and do your research. What’s on the surface is the only thing we see… Britney Spears, Madonna, most of rap… but deep down, there’s always something good (and sometimes even really good). The fact remains that modern Italian music is... beeh.
