I forgot to mention, the record in question that has been reviewed might also interest me, I don’t know it, the review is commendable, but there’s something in the first paragraph that can be discussed.

I don't mind certain mainstream bands either (I don't disdain the early Placebo and the early Muse, even though I'm not crazy about them), but to say that MTV also deals, even slightly, with the labels mentioned in the first paragraph, I don't agree. To say that the quite dignified and pleasant Editors are a New-Wave revival is musically speaking a blasphemy, just like mentioning indie bands like Scimmie artiche and Franceschi Ferdinandi.

I think you're right dlf, it looks very similar to Patrick Vieira's best performances in recent times, who is unfortunately off the pitch (I'm also referring to the cover face which looks somewhat alike).

Absolute masterpiece.

Rather, on the cover there's a girl behind him and he starts playing PlayStation... oh well.

A beautiful debut review, I particularly appreciate the first part, "A Picture of Nectar" is probably their peak.

I had missed the review of this album, surprisingly impressive on a compositional level; after that of my beloved Silver Mt. Zion, I hadn't listened to anything new in recent months, but fortunately, this one has come along.
Baustelle I Mistici Dell'Occidente

Honest pop group, not ridiculous like others, for heaven's sake, but artistically unbearable.

Wow! These are really "cool," I return for the record rating, in my opinion surprisingly eclectic, with a mix of Prog-NewWave-PostRock vibes; in some tracks like "Objective Compromised," I also hear a certain Math style reminiscent of a more mature Don Caballero.
