Mr. Sympathy, on par with Emilio Fede.

The stars of the reviewed albums are all proportional to the ratings on Scaruffi's link page. This means I'll listen to those with the lowest ratings first; they might be the best, an artist I’m interested in exploring as a solo performer since I appreciate the Soft Boys.

From now on, publishers will have as their Grinch the figure of the good Robyn Hitchcock.

Well, whether it's mainstream or not, I really don't care; I could be the only one to like the genre and I would still be satisfied. However, in recent years, the term Progressive isn't quite so niche anymore. Several websites talk about a New Wave of Prog Rock (including only some Prog-Metal) represented by Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Pain Of Salvation, The Mars Volta, Riverside (bands that, for purists, are erroneously lumped together given their now more metallic or lighter nuances, but in a relative way are indeed part of it and achieve decent success; as far as I'm concerned, welcome them too). If we talk about Prog "for connoisseurs," some releases this year like Aranis, Finnegans Wake, Univers Zero, French TV are naturally very fine-tuned stuff that remains in the underbrush, as it should be for rare and precious gems. ;)

1-It depends, mostly No 2-No, but they are a great band 3-I get a kick out of the word "Prog" more than any other label; I vomit when I hear AOR, Grindcore, a lot of Metal (except for Prog and Post and a few others) 4-I don't pay attention to the duration of a track; it can last 10 seconds or even an hour 5-No 6-I don't know 7-I don't know 8-No 9-No (This debate of yours is very funny :D) 10-Yes 11-No. I care a lot about hygiene.

Repeatedly listened to, one of the most enjoyable releases of this year for me, I raise the rating for the review.
Anekdoten Nucleus

"Nucleus" is in some ways the most experimental and personal episode of their discography, distinguished from their other works, a magnificent dreamlike sound flow. I appreciate the first three albums equally; "Gravity" is perhaps the weakest, while "A Time Of Day" I have recently been reevaluating and it seems to me to be a definitely good work.
Negramaro La Finestra

The title of the album provides an excellent cue for where to direct this compact disc.

This is what I'm looking for, beautiful name Skywave. For others who are staring at their shoes, I recommend the Swervedriver's "Raise" and Lush's "Spooky"
