I now notice that the links aren't working, I wonder why (I see that these pages still exist on the web even though one of the sites has been closed for a while). They were anyway the review of the collection of various artists "Tuonen Tytar 2" on the Rock Impressions site ("Majestic Simon Says, always very close in style to the Americans Spock’s Beard") and the review of the same "Tardigrade" on the Kronic.it site ("The amount of references present is impressive. On the flying eight, all the best current interpreters of the genre come together, particularly including Flower Kings, Spock’s Beard, IQ, Carptree, and Jadis"). Affinity is certainly the basic method for the others mentioned as well.

@kaczynski: I absolutely did not mean to call the CCCP pro-Soviet, I used that term to indicate the way they provocatively defined themselves as "pro-Soviet punk." Moreover, voting for the league does not mean being a supporter of the league; I believe that the term "leghista" has nothing to do with the current Ferretti (at least I hope not). Regardless of ideology, Ferretti has always been a great artist, just like the CCCP, CSI, and PGR in my opinion. This is what I wanted to say, since I often see well-known criticisms of him. Nevertheless, you did well to point that out so I had the chance to clarify my previous light-hearted comment, which wasn’t particularly serious, and has value, let’s say, as much as comment 15; )

Personally, I wouldn't classify them as Prog-Metal; in my opinion, it's symphonic Prog with occasionally heavier guitars, especially in "Freakshow." Nevertheless, it's an excellent offering from a band I greatly respect. However, I would have avoided such a direct comparison with the Teatro degli Orr... ehm dei Sogni, which could be relatively justified. :)
