Bravo for filling the gap of this album, just to mention a bit of recent and not-so-recent Zeuhl scene, the now-famous "Eros" by Dun, the first of Eider Stellaire from the "historical" scene, the more recent ones along with the latest from Magma, the two from Jannick Top, our very own Universal Totem Orchestra, and the new French arrivals Xing Sa, classified as Zeuhl, but I would say they are more of a sort of Fusion-Prog. A single album from 2010, "Creation de l'Univers," they truly deserve a lot I believe I will review something from these recent ones sooner or later.

@Schiz: It's more of a period affinity than a stylistic one, indeed, with the C.J., whom I also appreciate a lot anyway. @Pinhead: they're not that far from Mazzy Star or Opal, Galaxie 500 being more direct and Lo-Fi; the taste for melody is similar, I think you'll really like them.

Among the favorites, the review, and among the most recent favorites, also the album.

Regarding the Folk-Rock suggestions, I clearly specified which stylistic coordinates I mean, just as with the label Dream-Pop to convey part of their music; they are not included so generically. The bold formatting can be avoided to highlight them over the rest, but I believe it explains what they refer to :). Anyway, yes, I also prefer them over the Cowboys; I enjoy listening to the albums they've made much more.

Slowdive on the homepage these days? So you did it on purpose... My favorite of the LPs is "Souvlaki"; they've reissued all three albums in a double edition, I see, interesting.

Yes, it's true, we are talking about the sounds or experiences of "Post-Industrial" musicians (that’s how they could be labeled) where the sounds are slower and the production much "cleaner." By the way, I also really like the more recent NIN, I agree with the owner of Udinese, the comparison fits.

A lot of good stuff on this record, in short.

Thank you all, the artwork is remarkable yes, as always. @mad: nice homepage this week for Deb, such a shoegaze vibe :), even though in this case of Jesu it’s more of a stylistic nuance rather than an integral part of the genre. @Nes: your links are always appreciated, I know Caspian and Koenji well, the other two links, which I wasn’t familiar with, are equally splendid, especially the Fragment which I’ll note down for a future listen, the cover isn’t new to me.
