The Appleseed Cast is an EP from 2011. @Schizoid: with Gragnaniello, we are more on the Screamo/Post-Hardcore side; these aren’t as violent in terms of vocals and instrumentation.

Happy to find you here and see your appreciations and opinions. I really liked the Algernon Cadwallader too; I had left the Appleseed Cast with the lovely "Sagarmatha" (which was more of an album commonly defined as Post-Rock, different from the previous ones) recommended to me by Geb. I still miss the latest Raein. Moving a bit into Screamo, besides the more well-known Daïtro and La Quiete, I recommend Sed Non Satiata.

Regarding the discussion that they would have fallen into oblivion like various '90s bands if they had continued with "Undertow," it is very likely. Some bands at the Lollapalooza festival were less well-known than others, and it would have been difficult for them to stray from that underground level by continuing with that stylistic line. A certain cleverness, as well as skill in navigating their style over time, can also be recognized.
