@Macaco: It's not such a clear and direct influence, but I do see it, even if only to a minimal extent, in the sounds of the bands you mentioned, which caught my attention precisely because of these (albeit very relative) affinities.

@Schizoid: yes, some of their covers are unsettling, including "A Time of Day". Part of this cover of "Vemod" reminds me of the atmosphere of the first Black Sabbath, the house in the background, that figure dressed in black to the side...

A great return for Pendragon, a work that approaches in some passages certain relatively recent Prog bands, although it doesn't hold up entirely like "The Masquerade Overture." It's a splendid piece precisely for how it combines these components with their style. I prefer this Pendragon to the latest IQ.
laZona (Fabio Zuffanti) Le notti difficili

Besides Finisterre, I didn’t delve into Zuffanti's projects; I will explore that later. However, I’m pleased to note that we have very similar tastes between Prog and Post Rock, and well, what could I expect from someone with the nickname "Schizoid Man"?!… ;)

I would rather recommend either "The Wake" from their '80s period or "Subterranea," my favorite work by IQ.
Riverside Second Life Syndrome

I've been following Riverside since the release of their debut album, and so far they haven't disappointed me; they are among my favorite Prog-Metal bands.

IQ are one of the NeoProg groups I still enjoy; this "Dark Matter" was quite pleasing to me, despite the usual Dejavù. It remains a pleasant album, but as I've mentioned numerous times, the masterpieces of Prog are something else, in my opinion. From Inside Out itself, I particularly appreciate other artists, especially Paatos, Beardfish, Frost*.
Astra The Weirding

Very, but very inviting as a review for my tastes.

Thanks to your excellent review, I had the pleasure of listening to this beautiful album. It vaguely reminds me of the atmosphere of the recent Volcano Choir, as well as something from Animal Collective (from "Sung Tongs," tracks like "The Softest Voice"...).
