Congratulations on the comeback of this great American band. Commendable how they revive (in a way that is by no means trivial) the sound of VDGG and Hammill's vocals in the '90s. Among so many bands that cover Genesis and Yes, they stand out as much more original than many others.

Recently, I took advantage of the offers from Inside Out/Emi to get the original; it's the band's least immediate album, in fact at first I couldn't appreciate this change from their early days, but now, several months after its release, I can say they remain at their excellent level.

Alongside the Oneida, they are the Jagjaguwar artists I appreciate the most and listen to most frequently; I rarely get attached to tracks of this kind, but I find theirs truly splendid. "The Stand Ins" is not an "immediate" work like the previous one, a less direct effort but one that is equally enjoyable.
