Yes, you're right, I could have read between the lines and understood the meaning you attributed to it. Bad Reputation is, in my opinion, the most stylish of the bunch, and it also contains the title track, which I consider a gem that I still love after all these years. You say limp, I say velvety, and that's fine. As for the metal turn, I think they were too subtle for that genre. Rather than a tank, they've always made me think of a panther. A salute.

Jailbreak and Black Rose are doing just fine, the other one not so much. Black Rose more folk in what sense? Taking traditional themes and putting them in a hard sauce makes it more folk?
