Honestly, I don't like this thrash revival thing at all. I'm all for evolution, not stagnation — the mere stylistic revival of sounds that are 20 years old. Plus, nothing will ever surpass the masterpieces of the masters you mentioned in your excellent review.

the review highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the album very well. in fact, it is a bit lengthy; cutting here and there, eliminating the interludes and the fillers, and reducing everything to a maximum of one hour's worth of CD would have been far better. if you are interested in mystical\esoteric fantasies, I recommend reading IL PENDOLO DI FOUCAULT by UMBERTO ECO. I just finished it, it’s spectacular!!!

The problem is that shit has come to our mouths and we taste it every day; little by little we are getting used to it, and when someone tries to make us taste chocolate, we might say it’s disgusting. The clock of history turns back to the past, a past made up of militarized streets, political opponents being killed and no one held accountable, people brainwashed by television who believe that the pinnacle of life is going on Big Brother or being a suitor on De Filippi's show, young people for whom war is a video game and for whom thinking for themselves is the worst crime against humanity.
