Often we forget that priests are human beings, and as such, they have feelings. No cult \ ideology \ religion can prevent a human from falling in love with another human; you can suppress a feeling, but you cannot erase it with a stroke of the sponge. Hence comes the problem of clerical celibacy. In the Protestant world, there is no obligation of celibacy, and there is no evidence that Protestant priests are worse than Catholic ones. So what harm would it do to allow priests to marry??? But good luck explaining that to the German pastor..........
