It's true, groups like this, Sepultura, Sarcófago, or Attomica really came from the streets, they truly believed in what they played. For example, in Beneath the Remains by Sepultura, I feel an intensity and emotional involvement that I've found in very few albums; you can tell they genuinely "felt" what they were doing. Of course, then there were also galactic crap coming from Brazil like Angra, but that's another story...

The album is hilarious, the movie is an out-of-this-world nuclear galactic blast!!!! The part where they fight against Satan who threatens to take Kage with him to hell and make him his little whore is one of the best things ever created in the history of cinema, and I must say that Jack Black has a voice that's far from despise-worthy.

I saw it last night at the cinema, and I must say I mostly agree with your review, but I can't give it less than 4. The final part with the message that even robots have a heart (and they can lend it to you when needed, haha) was a bit cheesy and overly sentimental, but overall the film is really enjoyable, never a dull moment, which is no small feat. As for the female leads, I have to say that Moon Bloodgood is truly fabulous, but not as much as Megan Fox, while Bryce Dallas Howard is really beautiful. I don’t know about you, but redheads definitely get my blood pumping...

Honestly, a year since its release, I've significantly downgraded it; it really doesn't deserve more than a 3. That said, the bands you mentioned as examples (absolutely justified!!!!!!!!!) of thrash metal have evolved their sound over the years. Some, like Slayer and Testament, have done so intelligently and coherently, while others, like Metallica and Megadeth, have completely ruined themselves big time. Meanwhile, bands like Sepultura have simply committed suicide with their own hands...........
