I haven't listened to the album yet; I just read the review, and intrigued, I started looking for it on the mulo..............that said, I agree with morte niedda, you should never trash others' musical tastes, but you have to respect other people's ideas, no matter how senseless and stupid they might seem from our point of view. Not only do I not have friends who listen to metal, but being a deathster, I constantly have to hear people who listen to dance, pop, and rap tell me that I listen to crap!!!!!!! What should I do, arm myself with a machine gun!!???!! I simply pretend it doesn’t bother me and keep listening to what interests me most, not caring about others.

Blessed are you from the north, you have the Gods, Evolution, and every month you have amazing concerts; here in Naples, the most we get are the Exodus!!!!!!!

I would like to know, Tepes, what you think of Ephel Duath, which I personally consider to be the most brilliant band in the Italian scene.

Thanks for the response, Tepes. Just yesterday I listened to "In the Nightside Eclipse" by Emperor and "At the Heart of Winter" by Immortal. I really liked the first one, while the second one I liked a bit less. As for Death, I like it, damn do I like it. I listened to a track from Burzum once, I honestly don't know the title, from the album "Filosofem," and I didn't like it at all, a chant-like voice over a bed of ambient music. I don't know anything about Darkthrone, while I've listened to a few tracks from the latest album by Satyricon, but honestly, I didn't appreciate it much. Finally, regarding Dimmu Borgir, they're more fake than a 3-euro coin.

The first black metal album I listened to was "Death Cult Armageddon" by Dimmu Borgir, and I didn't like it at all; they seem like clowns pretending. Then I checked out some Marduk, and that had me laughing with a full belly, especially because of the disgusting scream of the singer. As for technique, I think it's a surplus; I also listen to bands that don't shine in that area. A fundamental requirement for me is attitude. Anyway, getting back to black metal, I'm still open to new discoveries. You, Tepes, who know your stuff, recommend me some bands.

While I'm writing to you, I'm listening to the album by C-187, the new band of the former Pestilence-Death-Atheist members. I've listened to 5 tracks and in my opinion, they're nothing special, double disappointment considering the big names involved. Anyway, good thing I checked with the mulo before purchasing...

for me Marduk and Helloween are equally terrible

I just took a look online to see who these Antaeus are; they are a Raw Black Metal band, so nothing that would interest me, having heard Marduk and all the others.........it's a bit like Helloween for power metal..........
