But, didn’t the old lady smash a broom between your shoulder blades and your duodenum after you messed up the floor with runes (especially since, perhaps, she even bled out to have her son exorcised from the little devil of unhealthy listening!!) and then made you tidy up the worn-out pencils with your bloody snot?! Anyway, after speaking wisely about Medal, Airon Meiden, Menouor, and the merry company, why do you start butchering the names of the songs in that Taliban way?! (And then you say that PRAULER is your favorite, yeah.....; )

You're not missing out on anything, Howdy... they're basically even more ridiculous NoFX... damn..., 18 years old?! How the hell do they keep playing this music at their age??! Well, at least this time they didn't do worse than the cover of "Gusto" (the last one I remember from them).

Nice, I like this 0, even though it's the result of a non-vote. But Faenza is worth even less than ZERO (I'd reserve that for Tornatore).

Yes, Kyklos, an abomination. This is not the most suitable venue for an analysis, but it is nonetheless an aesthetic work, with some eye-catching solutions, and an over-the-top visual representation that fails to disguise the intellectual shallowness of the underlying message. In short, one of those films I hate the most, as they do nothing to hide their "authorial" pretensions while being meticulously crafted to make the viewing experience "bearable" for the widest possible audience. It falls into the American cliché, and that very fallible "dream" aiming to stigmatize, ultimately becoming the most classic of representations!
Alfred Hitchcock Psycho

Chabrol, Rivette, and especially Resnais had already been active before 1960, and someone like Rohmer (whom I have always found too verbose and literary) also had "Le signe du lion" to his credit (for me, his best film). If we are to start it all from "À bout de souffle" and Godard, that's another story, but the fact remains that "Hiroshima mon amour" is from 1959, dear friend let the rock stay there!

Oooooh... that's why that annoying itch couldn't be soothed due to the paralyzing numbness. The Mogwai were involved! I mean, I caught this music a few weeks ago, half-anesthetized, right alongside the film in question (or rather, the cheap dvx): a puffed-up, asphyxiating, and suffocating film, not to mention PETIlante (which only manages the considerable feat of making one long for the dreadful "Requiem for a Dream"). Okay, I'm putting this soundtrack on my wishlist behind the canine works of Michael Nyman (that is, under the heading "soundtrack to be played exclusively for dogs condemned to forced euthanasia," accompanied by a viewing of excruciating Aronskian spectacles!).

While the concert accompanied by a downpour took place in Santa Lucia di Piave (2000 or 2001, I can't remember exactly), I have nothing to say about the band's goodwill, but it was also marred by an annoying detail: many of those present, between one song and another, began to sing the keyboard part of "Play For Today" for a good hour, until the group, which clearly hadn't planned it in the setlist, performed it out of sympathy, or because they were fed up (however, it sounded very much like a stadium chant of "Seven Nation Army," with the added aggravation that such an anthem was patented by the French, see live in Paris).

I was there too, but we weren’t very lucky (they only did one encore performing 3 songs: "Killing an Arab," "Boys don't cry," and "10-15 Saturday night," to be honest), since they barely exceeded 2 hours of concert, while in the other 5 Italian dates, according to reliable sources, they went well over 3 hours (even including a good number of older songs, and at Palaverde, excluding the encore, they only played "Cold"). Still, in hindsight, for 36,000 lira it was definitely a bargain!!!

I'm sorry to have made you even a little upset, Joyello, that was not my intention. Anyway, we gathered in assembly just tonight and, if all goes well, the next edition could have some interesting news (which I can't reveal yet). Among other things, in December we should be passing through Verona to discuss the matter with some new contacts (keeping in mind that it is not our aim to overturn the friendly and "do it yourself" approach of the event!).
