Errata Corrige: I had forgotten "Fear, Anxiety and Depression," so this is Todd's official second feature (a young man sailing into his fifties, Odradek ;). For the marquis, "Palindromes" may not be as direct and intense as "Happiness," but in its own way, it can be considered the most comprehensive manifesto of Solondz's cinematic aesthetics (and for me, it’s a beautiful film). Next year he should (with the obligatory conditional) come out with his sixth feature.

Damn..., it was becoming a magnificent page of nonsense and instead, RuPaul, you've made them crazy again, now we could use a new intervention from Mike Bongiorno with his dose of "Allegriaaaaa...!".

This is his least "complex" film (but also his first "feature"), yet he remains the best American director of today, period (not much of a boast, considering that the cinema made in the U.S.A. is an accessory product aimed at the subliminal maintenance of the cereal toasting industry or, if you prefer, popcorn production). Thank you very much, Khachacha (the valley?!; ).

Always Eric Cartman (ecchi otherwise?!) teaches us that those who eat from the back shit from the front. And you want me to believe that someone FORWARD like Hendrix hadn't already EXPERIENCED that!

Ahahahah! RuPaul, ahahahah....but if he's that big, it's better not to make too much fun of him or as Supersoul says, then you need the iron underwear. However, I thought that "the blacks" had the bass as an automatic instrument [see the original formation of "Faith+" by Eric Cartman, creators of essential tracks such as "Jesus touch me (in my bed tonight)!"], but evidently Mitch Mitchell (the guy is repetitive) used Lavasbianca many years before Michael Jackson (but those hair give him away) and so the accounts would add up, if it weren't for the fact that as a drummer, he’s rather mediocre.

@ Hypno: "Commercial"? Are you referring to one of my comments?! Because it's a term I've never used in the posts I've written (and I could only do so with anarcho-situational intentions, that is, joking mockingly and provocatively, but that's not the case here).

@Alessio: Well, come on, comparing the Butthole Surfers to D.Jr. isn't that strange after all; they're a mess too (actually much more than the Dinosauri) and when it comes to quotes, they're extremely omnivorous (meaning you can find resonances with any indie-rock band from the '70s-'80s), they joke around just the same, but they take themselves much less seriously (see the album titled "P" with "Gay for..." Johnny Depp, a colossal load of nonsense). P.S.: Mike Watt is definitely a great bassist, but I'd really like to understand how he could "play" faster (unless he's using just one bass string, like Peter Hook) with a pick...

Mmmmm, I think that here the choice involves that cover/b-side which was later dug up in the cute clip of "Just like Heaven." Not that I've ever been crazy about it (the early institutional young dinosaur, I mean, because it's a fact that for everyone now "those" are the D.J.s, only to later shout miracle for the last "little crap" delivered in the original line-up) but this album doesn’t say anything to me, I prefer "Bug" and even the much-despised "Green Mind" (Mascis almost solo - but hasn't it always been like that?!? - and the switch to a major label), when the guitars start to sound vaguely tuned and the solos (or whatever they are) don’t come out of nowhere when you really don’t feel like hearing them, at least in these albums the specter of genre (or sub-genres) begins to widen (but it also appears a little more in focus), and you get used to the shrill-adenoid voice quite easily. Here then begins the feast of horrifying covers (ahem, not that "Bug" was well "packaged"...;).

Buuuuuh...Giorgio Pestelli, you could have avoided bringing him up. The guy annoyed me back in the day. Take any Music History exam at a random Italian university, and you can be sure that 90% of the transition manual from the 7/800s they slap on you is authored by him, at least he could write well!

"Enjoy Incubus" is indeed a follow-up, but it is just as unequivocally an E.P. and not a full-length.
