But someone like Toni Servillo (for example) couldn’t care less… (I could throw in a pseudo-Hollywoodian like Skarsgård, young ones like Louis Garrel, Eduardo Noriega, Sergi Lopez, and Bruno Todeschini, classics for all seasons like Depardieu, Erlan Josephson isn't dead yet... and then there’s Aurélien Recoign who, although not very well-known, is a top-notch performer... but the list would really be long... just look around a little).

I believe that the "twilight" refers to the fact that the film by the "old" Kurosawa revolves around "senile memory"... I really like it a lot... and, while it has little to do with the specific narrative content, I have the impression that Sokurov must have analyzed it well before creating his "The Sun" (another masterpiece).

Sorry MeMo, I admit to broad ignorance, however the alleged homonymy with the Norwegian metal band is undermined by the fact that those are Kovenant... while the gist of my discourse on Apoptygma Berzerk can be attributed to a greater incisiveness of "industrial" dissonances (even if, as ElectricOne says, these groups still have a strong melodic component).
