The "French" poster, where did you pull it from? We are in the middle of Mexican season...

Well, the self-titled debut album is quite different from what they produced later, and it’s the one I prefer (and I don’t understand what emo has to do with it). By the way, is Ole gnawing his hands now that he knows he wasn't gallant with a young lady?!

Mmmmh, trivial doubts, as a layman: but to play the piano in Puerto Rico, did you have to have the last name Palmieri?! Ehm, maybe I have a bit of a quirky understanding of the term, but the gentleman on the cover would be "dapper"?! I find him rather "casual."

And they’re annoying the hell out of me. I mean: paradise looks like Utah and the blessed are all Mormons! Okay, great discovery... but why does this little couple have to contravene the precept of the timid ones and go around bothering the rest of the corrupt world??!! Mazzy Star in the mix?! I don’t see them fitting in that well... while we should stop bringing up the Codeine for these idiots... lucky you left out the Helium... the itchiness is looming!

Oh, it’s true, a vote of encouragement for the reviewer or the group... Hamlet-like decision... yeah, right!!!

Ah, well, if Morcheeba were ahead, then..... I preferred to get high with the vintage Dj Ombra (and then "New Forms" came out too.... no, I definitely did without this castor oil... ; )

I mean that nowadays the national-popular intelligentsia is made up of its hagiographers... and woe to you if you say that even the PPP has occasionally, while straining its brain, produced some sphincter-like efforts... you end up looking, coincidentally, like a blasphemer!

Oh dear, Alessio, the squandering and cultural flatness of certain intellectuals is truly a mortifying exemplum in aphorisms like those of Welles/Pasolini in "La Ricotta" (the whole gloss, with that precarious balance between Warhol-esque commonplaces and pseudo-Manicheanism from the "Ecclesiastes" of the poor... thank goodness there are still some around who remember Michelstaedter and more authentic "cognitive fervors").

Well, the review... but I'm on the opposite side, it seems to me an honest album, not phenomenal, of course, but muuuuuch better than the fecal dryness they've produced since 2001 (and live they never inspired me, however now they can count on the tailored flatulence of Mr. Dance Tease Gabrielli... hoping that this hasn't harmed the Mariposa).
