No Algol, the 'gnuranza fits well, indeed it attests to the usability of the Tool product, while the review on OndaRock is rather incomplete, since even the last of the Toolsians knows that in the first minute of "The Grudge" the famous algebraic sequence of the Fibonacci succession is explicitly explained in terms of percussive rhythmic pattern, which (no kidding!) is the gnostic key to reading the entire album, as later specified in the stanza structure of the "title track"!

Hey, the joke was meant to be interpreted... I also have the 2 Japanese import live albums by Deftones (I mean, the latest one was passed to me by my brother from Kyoto... but that's another story).

Well, yes, it is known that, after gazing at the ctonium tricephalus, Alighieri began to suffer from episodes of multiple personality disorder and referred to himself with a "pluralis maiestatis"...

'What, is this a late April Fools' joke?!... I mean, I trust in the good sense of most, but do you really want to put "Undertow" on par with their subsequent productions (terrifyingly in some cases even claiming it to be their best album)??!!... Further discussion on this matter seems rather pointless to me!!!

Well, no one is untouchable, but if being cerebral is a crime, then... I’ll go with the contrapasso and say: can I throw 3s at Led Zeppelin or Syd Barrett when they tell me stories about elves, wizards, sprites, and the lords of my various little Tarzans?...

Yes, however, some distinctions must be made in this era of shoegaze revival... the four key bands, despite the common denominator of the wall of sound, each have their own compositional specificity... APTBS sound like early J&MC (and that’s it) with just a melodramatic use of the deep voice à la Eldritch... but even if originality is lacking, the tracks are there and the writing quality is more than decent on average (3.5).

Hey there, by the way "TSOPTC" just turns 2 eons (or ten years, if you prefer) these days... "...The Refused Party Program, hardcore techno megamix...!!!"

Oh well, if Xiu Xiu are "always magnificent," then this must really be an operation of the highest pedigree...

And you forget the cover of "King of the Hill," which should sound like an even clearer statement of intent, Appestato... I'm talking about "Mapmaker" by Parts & Labor, of course... uh, but the guitars are missing... they make noise with synths and various effects... anyway, it's better than these No Age (and by a good margin... at least they're not a duo but... a trio ; ).
