Do I have to do Zoot or Proot???!!! I listened to it quite a bit last summer, a bit too much early '90s in terms of sound and minimalism, but not bad (3.5).

Anghingò, where shall I begin? Let's say this: an album that flows smoothly without too many hassles, nothing special, but considering the past, with the many lows and few highs of "Exciter" and, above all, the vomit-inducing bad taste represented by "Playing the Angel," I would say that, in the end, they managed quite well this time (with even a couple of tracks that are neither too cheesy nor too polished, but sufficiently catchy and polished like "Fragile Tension" and "In Sympathy"). Dignified.

Everything is very beautiful, but how can one not notice, from the very first distracted listen, that Lanegan's voice intertwines with Staley's in a magnificent counterpoint right in "Long Gone Day"?! And, above all, that in "November Hotel" it can't fit since it is the only entirely instrumental track on the album?!

The completistic/compulsive monomanias are not generally displeasing to me, especially when well-argued, as always in Your case, Most Excellent MeMo... but a Tibetan surexposure renders me both martial, mercurial, and blenorrhœically venereal (and Your musical production/secretion is indeed rather copious); could You, therefore, kindly focus on other artists You have already addressed and certainly more deserving of attention (I take the liberty of gently suggesting messer Simon Heath). Cordially Yours, Purpulan.
