Editors In This Light And On This Evening

For the series "using synths with awareness in 2009," one should listen to "Tarot Sport" by Fuck Buttons, a work that I believe many will have to reckon with moving forward. I don't have anything against Editors, quite the opposite, but if "Papillon" turns out to be symptomatic of the overall sound of this release... well, it's better to draw a veil of pity over it; that track is one of the most horrifying things I've heard around this year.

Mmmmmh, I would have seen Fennez on "Maritime" (or even better on the "Untitled Track") rather than Patton, maybe turning it into a 10-minute ambient suite. Did he leave us the rhythmic progression on "Weight" or did he take it away?

Oh, thank you for the clarifications Jurix... but it was a case of retribution.

Anyway, it would be an apotropaic comment aimed at warding off the incursion of a dispenser of maximal maxims, presumably not very fond of sub-polar climates, that begins with "K" (and ends with "rishna" ; ).

Mmmm, I'm sorry but specifically I see it as a bit tough, considering the measures to protect the survival of your species (since even the pandas are kept at bay from the onslaught of further misfortunes, let alone one that's ugly to begin with ;), they would never accept you in a place where they eagerly await the arrival of a little star-eating wolf (and whatever else comes within reach of their fangs) to start brawling in cosmic fights!

Whoever writes an aphorism under this comment is... a Nordic deity!

Among his albums, the only one that appeared to me as a harbinger of auspicious signs was the penultimate "Masse Mensch Material," a work that attempted (often succeeding) to reinterpret certain restrictive genre dictates with greater freedom of action/sound contamination. However, considering what he presented with the latest "Flowers from Exile" (which, although it starts off on the right foot, dramatically stumbles thereafter), the impression that the Luxembourger is not overly attracted to the healthy flame of evolutionary desire in the musical realm has returned with a pronounced and sudden insistence, what a shame, a missed opportunity!

It means that if you like Jessica Rabbit, you're a loser (with the added disadvantage of having the urges of a horny rabbit), while if you find yourself with the obelisk of Luxor between your legs admiring an old "toons" of Betty Boop, then you have divine sex appeal and taste (specifically that of Amon, who snagged the heavenly cutie Mut... half babe and half vulture... and kudos!!! ; ).

Mmmm... It seems that "All Secrets Known" is only liked by me, huh?!! That intro, which makes it sound almost like a sick and depressed version of "Vicarious," and the progressive wave-like flow, still having a circuitous movement, make for a highly valuable "overture," imho.
