Yes, yes, it’s crap, maybe even a bit loose (as in “slightly off”)... but... in “Nobody Loves Me” (just one track) there’s all the guitar work that Page Hamilton has been able to deliver throughout his entire “Helmet-ian” career... “Everything” anticipates by a long shot the approach of the ‘00 bands in terms of “neo-psychedelic” “droney” intuitions, and as for the rest, I doubt that various Jack White or Dan Auerbach, in an entire epoch-defining discography, could ever boast a variety of “guitar-laden” solutions like those showcased by Borland in this unique album.

Never been to Ibiza, and quite frankly not intending to fill that gap, especially considering that twenty-somethings easily infatuated with "phenomenological" declamations probably aren't very "performative"... With the contribution of "Aut-Aut" or "On the fourfold root of the principle of sufficient reason", the situation seems more probable and reassuring, but with Hegel... Brrrrrrrrr... ;)

Well, I find that Pomini is the most balanced and versatile among the various editors (even if he might not be very inclined towards "hard-rock" sounds). As for the so-called "avant-gardes," Baroni seems less intrusive to me, but much more convincing and reliable than S.I. Bianchi on Blow Up (who certainly has an encyclopedic musical culture, but on a stylistic level has the same capacity to engage as any essay by Walter Benjamin, i.e., rivers of words, often excessively redundant, for 4 concepts of real significance).

The fact, already explained in the first comments, that "Shackleton" is not a collective name or a moniker but the surname of the producer/composer, Sam Shackleton precisely, like saying "Del Naja" (not even "3D") instead of "M.A.", clearer put this way?!

As for Dave Huismans ("2562"), it's worth noting that he is definitely a top-notch sound designer/producer, but I always find myself disagreeing with the ways in which his works are received by the specialized critics. "Aerial" was initially quite underrated (even though it’s the most beautiful dubstep album I’ve listened to among those released in 2008), and now many, almost as a way to remedy that original "oversight," are acclaiming it for the new "Unbalance." Yet, I have to say that, "nomen omen," at the moment, I agree with the judgment expressed by Andrea Girolami: too much on the table, almost a sort of quirky virtuosic test, but some sudden shifts seem to hint at a swerving more than a thoughtful and meticulous eclecticism, and that heterogeneous aftertaste (unbalanced, indeed) that lingers at the end of every listen prevents me from fully appreciating it. Of course, as a common consumer and admirer, I grant him far more than nine out of ten, but the fact remains that there is a bit of disappointment regarding the "gut reaction".... Ah, Punny: "NOOOO! YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS TO MEEEE!!!"

Ah, so being "rockabbestia" is the only thing that matters?!... Well, it makes sense, it shifts the focus of the mess-making, but even Jenkinson gives me the impression of being a bit grimy (when it comes to personal hygiene, eh). Anyway, to wrap things up, I’d like to clarify that not all the bad stuff always comes to inSURGE, and every now and then he actually gets something right, like with the Ganglians, who have nothing to do with stoner but are still psych (in the folk/pop sense) and pretty filthy as well (still regarding personal hygiene ; ).

Well, that's not fair, or rather, it's too easy of a transition, since the Piazza dealer is known for being a bassist with counterbolas... ; )

Mmmmmh, you say we can trust them, so... When I saw them as album of the month in Rumore with an absurdly high rating by Sorge... My ears started to ring, not because of a predisposition for sonic listening, but due to the repeated scent of "Fuffa Sclerotizzata" that name carries with it (how the hell could they have him write the review for "Tarot Sport" by Fuck Buttons??!!! Mysteries of unauthorized construction ; ).

Well, who understands you is... Slagg! Ah, I sympathize with the other half of "Milano footballosa" (the one less about drinking and more about pissing), is this Slagg too or is it simply... serious.

I quote Alex, various "Poo-Poo" moments (in some cases rather embarrassing too)... but moments simply "Pooh" (definitely always embarrassing) I wouldn't know, I was too young to remember them clearly, but perhaps a "Winnie the Pooh" plush toy landed in my hands years ago... Worth it, right?!
