The voices have brought us to this album... and they were not present in the debut EP... of course, they are a desired added component, but they are phonemes (and not morphemes endowed with narrative significance in the literal sense) filtered through vocoder and various effects, just like the rest of the instrumentation... they remain functional to the purely "musical" structuring of the tracks... if one wants to see a reference to pre-linguistic childhood ("baby talk" or "mentalese," if you will), well, it seems a bit forced to me...

Ehn, no, for me it’s not everything, Hypnosphere, it's a personal note of mine, but the Pixies are essentially a pop band for me; in fact, their decline coincided with the loss of freshness and immediacy in their melodic lines... but "Doolittle" is, and remains, an album made up of little pop gems from beginning to end.

Well, in summary, you're saying that Battles improvise on minimal concepts trying to capture as much as possible the humoral-essential-musical state of things, Easycure...seeing them live, their generous space for improvisation is a well-established fact (but jazz musicians already do this, and by extension the so-called "Art-Rock" bands, which, not coincidentally, is precisely the label most people use for Battles).

I would like to point out "Rise, Rise, Rise," an album by Parts & Labor featuring Tyondai Braxton (of Battles), released by Narnack in 2003 (hoping that someday someone will derecensize something by the New York trio... ANTMO CE SEEEEIIIIII!!!).

I fully agree with Dreamwarrior, when I was 15 I made a colossal mistake by getting their self-titled album, and now I no longer trust the creative vein of Duffy and Astbury (but how can you not mention the fact that the Holy Barbarians basically did Brit-pop, Cry_me_wolf?!). Then, okay, the habit doesn’t make the monk, especially in the record industry, but can we talk about the beautiful cover???...

Cornell had a great voice... Staley, when his dropped, learned to infuse his interpretation with pathos, and the inner suffering shone through brilliantly. The duet with Lanegan in "Long Gone Day" is truly chilling in this regard, "two junkheads but what voices!!!"

I'm not the best suited for this, Bartleboom, "Storia Del Cinema Italiano" is one of the exams I've struggled with the most, a deadly bore, I personally liked (for ioTinsulto) Giuseppe De Santis in full, and part of Rossellini's production (the classic post-war period from '45 to '50, "L'Amore" excluded), and as for what the true expressive coordinates of "neo-realism" are, it's better not to get into it; it's a matter as old as it is thorny.

In the sense of pro-fiqua or pro-qulo (of the same kind)??! (after all, we're doing a nice little service for this page of the Rivoli).
