True to his nickname, the good Katharsys has provided us with a wonderfully alienating release... such was the purpose of every successful representational and entertaining work according to Aristotle... with all due respect to the bovine populace.

@ Supersoul: 1976 (if I’m not mistaken)...but the two films seem to me to be connected in quite a superficial way (Herzog was doing actual and proactive research, Jodorowsky was much more faithful to his plot as well as his "vision"; Herzog is nonetheless a true director, while Jodorowsky lends himself to the "medium" that entertains him at the moment).

The next one I recommend is: "Closer" by Joy Division... you’d get even closer to the status of Dead Man Walking... ;)

@ Hypno: mine was a discussion about what Domo stated. The last thing I purchased from the Cure is "Galore" ('97), so I won't comment on the subsequent compilations (and by reflection on your review...), best regards.

Dear Hypno, I agree 99.99% with what you expressed (and for this reason, not being a megalomaniac, I won't give two 5s, let's go with two 4.5s).

"Wild Mood Swing," in my opinion, remains the last album worthy of mention by the Cure, with beautiful pop flashes and a couple of well-executed gems ("Club America" brilliantly mixes the cut of "Never Enough" with... "Cut"..., the overflowing strings of "This is a Lie" are anthological, not to mention bland and insipid symphonies) ("The 13th," I hated it too when it first came out, but now I consider it a masterpiece of crooked arrangements, it's as loaded as it is fluid). However, after this, darkness has sadly clouded Uncle Bob's mind.

The English diction of Jodorowsky... a novice alchemist of nonsense... that really adds a quidditas to the weight of the blockbuster (well, come on, it's watchable, but listening is a whole other story) (the effects related to the transmigration of the body and more or less "quantum" theories about passing through rock... mmm, where do we want to put those?!...)(the real freaks, well they never lack, instead... they add color...).

Yahoo...typo...the part of Volontè was that of the librarian from Sarajevo...not that of the protagonist Ulysses...(he was replaced by Erland Josephson, no joke!).
