Radiohead In Rainbows

Without resorting to the easy populism of those who aren’t interested in the review (who could very well not click and read it) but only want to get noticed with colorful comments and ratings, I must say that I personally find this review the most thorough and well-crafted of those so far on In Rainbows, which I personally still need to fully digest, for this reason, I will not be giving a rating to the album.

If with this review
You want to be exhaustive
The intention needs to be understood
But nothing makes sense

If I had written as well:
Your mind flies away
And slowly wraps itself
With your psychedelia
It drives you madly crazy
I would have given you a 5!!!
Stanley Kubrick Shining
Voto:
This is an exceptional film, starting from Nicholson's stunning performance to Kubrick's spectacular direction. The scene of the child on the tricycle with the steady cam is wonderful, accompanied by the sounds produced by the tricycle wheels as they move over the carpets. The review is too didactic and, if I may say, poorly written as well. What does it mean in Italian: "Il quale uno non dico il lavoretto che stava facendo"? And there are many other linguistic flaws...

Dream Theater Systematic Chaos

It starts from the same premise, but arrives at diametrically opposite conclusions. Thus, for you, the influence of Dream Theater on the metal and prog scene is a merit, while for me, it's a demerit. In my opinion, they have gifted this scene with TRASH tones, and mind you, not trash metal, but trash in the sense of garbage. It's enough to listen to the gaudy arrangements, Labrie's unbearable vocalisms, and the pompous instrumental twists that are never lacking in any track. "Especially Portnoy, who doesn't even do a tenth of what he could." The point is just this: a fan of a band cannot feel dissatisfied simply because the solos are limited or there are fewer virtuosos than in the past. Instead, one should focus more on the substance, that is, the quality of the tracks. However, if this had always been the case, Dream Theater wouldn't have had this following for sure. Useless.

The recession is very similar to the others, it cites the same references in the pieces (Muse, Metallica) and is idolizing and lacking objectivity. Essentially, there are no flaws... Don't you feel like nitpicking? I would start, instead of from the hair, precisely from the egg, which to me seems to have gone bad for a while!
