So, I know this project as a lover and enthusiast of the Italian label, and I've written here on deb reviews dedicated to bands that "work" for Black Widow (besides being a fan of the English band from the seventies). It’s a work rich in passion and love for a certain type of "dark" sound.... the artists in question are part of the neoprog circle interpreted in a contemporary key. Of course, I’m not here to talk about masterpieces or a new "generation," but from a technical/emotional standpoint, it’s a work to appreciate, and above all, it's rich in zeal and personality. Obviously, when discussing prog masterpieces, one must first mention the sacred monsters of cult bands from the late sixties and then the entire seventies era... I’m referring to bands of the caliber of Black Widow, King Crimson, PFM, ERA DI ACQUARIO, Duello Madre, Saint Just, Perigeo, Banco, Orme, Dedalus, la locanda delle fate, Area, Yes, Rush, Caravan, Jethro Tull, Van Der Graaf Generator, Gentle Giant, Camel, Robert Wyatt, etc., etc... Anyway, I repeat, the reworking of this new neoprog trend is incredibly interesting also thanks to the contribution of the Genoese label, which has been producing great records for years now. I’m referring, for example, to Areknames, Pholas Dactylus (just to name a couple). Finally, congratulations to the reviewer who proposed an interesting page for deb. Well done!
