But how could you not read my post? I thought of mentioning the good old Dracula XD...PS: larock no problem, you're welcome, @anatas danke to you too ;P

So now I'm thinking of the classic 1931 Dracula film directed by Tod Browning (a masterpiece), then the Nosferatu films, including the one recommended above :D, and then the original directed by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau from 1922. Then there's Vampyr - Il vampiro from 1932 by Carl Theodor Dreyer, which is basically inspired by Le Fanu's masterpiece "Carmilla" and other of his works. And then there's "La comtesse noire" by director Jesús Franco, another immense film where the figure of the vampire is treated in a deep and extremely original way.... I could spend hours talking to you about all these films in detail, but I believe Deb's posts have a limit XD... I think these films are a clear example of how Stoker's literary figure, and in general the "vampire phenomenon," should be treated. They are my favorites, and I hope this has been helpful. @larock well, there are some amazing vampire movies, that's for sure... I think of "Bram Stoker's Dracula" by Coppola, or "Interview with the Vampire," "Nosferatu: The Prince of Night" by Herzog from 1979... [PS: I'm certainly not going to throw my money away on this garbage :) ]

I will never watch or read anything that has been created by this anal birth, also because when it comes to vampires I prefer that wonderful classic literature that I love so much!
