Vitalogy, you're right in your last comment. Nothing could be more true. I’m also passionate about Alice in Chains. Nirvana and Alice were two bands that managed, without overwhelming technical skills, to pull out fantastic melodies that were at the same time sick and dirty, without taking anything away from other grunge bands like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Melvins, Mudhoney.
